Dream Machine by Jayne Rylon

The best dreams are mad of naughty and spice.

Rebecca Williams is about to achieve her goal of graduating from a prestigious university and winning a coveted spot in her mentor's cutting-edge psychology practice. She just needs one more qualifications: sexual experience. She never dreamed it would come at the hands of the man she's admired and wanted for six years. Dr. Kurt Foster.

Kurt, a brilliant psycologist in the field of sexual therapy, is a scientist to the core. Attraction and lust are nothing more than chemical reactions, in his clinical opinion. Love? It's just a figment of the imagination born of natures directives. He's on the brink of proving it with a new machine that uncovers latent desires.
In short oreder, Becc's forbidden lust for her boss is exposed. As Kurt continues to enlighten her on the darker facets of her sexuality, the student unexpectedly becomes the teacher.
And suddenly Kurt is confronted with the irrefutable proof that love is so much more than a societal construction.
Warning:
This book is only suitable for readers who are turned on by hot doctors engaging in sexual experiments, bondage, menage a trois, exhibitionism, suspension, anal sex and other deviant using mechanical stimulation devices they've invented to make your wildest dreams come true.
Okay first off this book was absolutly freaking amazing. I actually characterized myself with the charaters. The writing technique was helped put yourself in their shoes.
That being said I totally admire the heroine in this book because there is no way in hell I could do the things she does. Not only am I way to shy to talk to anyone about my sex life little lone someone I had attraction to; which let face it Becca had for Kurt. I would never make it as close as she did in the experiment one look at the table and I would have bolted to the nearest exit lol.
And I so did not see the ending coming well not the ending ending but her finally fatasy. And how that all played out. I cryed when she had the talk with her mother. And laughed my ass off even though your not suppose to when she left him strapped to the table. He so deserved it lol. Now that I would have done.
All and all I recommend this read to anyone within my blogging reading area lol.
As good as her books are and as detailed I am going to have to take it in doses otherwise my heart is going to fail. And my limbido will not recover.
I am so looking forward to the next one. There is going to be a next one right Jayne you can't just leave Luke just hanging he's a really good guy!

Now you can stop biteing your nails I told you I would love it *wink*.

Kiss Me Forever by Rosemary Laurey

If there is one thing Dixie LePage does not need in her life, it's complications. And the man sitting across from her in a crowded English Pub is a major complication. For starters, there the broad shoulders. The slightly amused smirk. that smoldering look that makes it impossible to concentrate. No doubt about it the guy is hot and sexy.

Of course, there is one wee little problem. He claims to be a vampire name Christopher Marlowe, as in THE Christopher Marlowe, famous playwright, contemporary of Will Shakespeare. Amend that to hot sexy, an totally insane. So why can't Dixie seem to resist the warmth of Christopher's charm, the protective feel of his strong hands, or the tempting pull of his full mouth when the sun goes down...?

~~~MY THOUGHTS~~~
Rosemary puts an interesting spin on vampires. Many stories of vampires hang on to the traditional vampires but her interpretation is very well thought out. I love how you put a little bit of history into the story but still stayed true to the times.
That being said I am looking forward to the next one coming out in paperback. She has many in this series and they are ebooks but I think she is one I will read in print.
My Recent Excitments!
I have been winning alot of stuff now that I have offically became a book junkie lol. I am so happy with were I am at now! Not two years ago I had not picked up a good book to save my life. And now I have read well over 300 in that time frame.
I am even toying with the idea of writing for myself. I am going to have to have someone fix all my errors because I am really really bad at it lol. But as long as I get the story out there right. If anything i'll get the out of being creative if only for myself.
I recently went to RT which was so much fun and I got to meet some really really great authors that I had already befriended but only needed to meet face to face. While I could only go the one day I did join in on some chats and won some pretty intreasting things.
Amonst them is this wonderful Moose named Moorey ( I won him from Vivian Arend for Chunku night) and the puppy is Bumper (from Kate Douglas for visiting her at RT)
They guard my book shelf with pride. I have won countless ebooks which I will review as soon as I get to read them. The reviews are coming slower and slower I know but with the nice weather comes the girls wanting to play more outside. I could take the books outside but its pointless.
I hope everyone is have a great Friday and you continue to have a great weekend!
Divorced, Desperate, and Deceived by Christie Craig
Of the Divorced, Desperate, and Delicious club, Kathy Callahan is the last surviving member. Oh, her two friends haven't died or anything. They just gave up their vows of chastity. They went for hot sex with hot cops and got happy second marriages--something Kathy can never consider, given her past. Yet there's always her plummer, Stan Bradley. He seems honest, hardworking, and skilled with a tool.
But Kathy's best-laid plans have hit a clog. He's handier with a pistol than a pipe wrench, and she's about to see more action than Jason Statham. The next forty-eight hours promise hot pursuit, hotter passion and a super perky pug, and at the end of this wild escapade, Kathy and her very own undercover lawman will be flush with happiness--assuming they both survive.
I love Goodwill he fits so well in the story! I love when authors use animals to humanize books and Christie Craig did a good job doing it. I also loved the ending to the book! I was worried during the cabin shoot out Joey really was one of my favorite characters I didn't want to see him gone I am glad he got his happy ending too.
I laughed so hard at the hat! And how they found the poor guy in the porta-potty.
Okay this book totally rocked. I bought it on a fluke at RT because I took one look at the cover and absolutely loved it. I kinda wish I would have read the other two first so I could get the back story before reading it, but it was still great without it.
Savor the Moment by Nora Roberts
Laurel McBane has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents' financial problems. Now laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionery delights that add the perfect touch to their clients weddings.
As for romance, Laurel believes in it-in theory. But she's too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker's older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega crush on since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her, or so she thinks. When Laurel's quick silver moods get the better of her-leading to an angry, hot, altogether mind-blowing kiss with Del--she'll have to quiet doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever....
I loved how she put Del and Laurel together. Through out the last two books i was hoping these to would get together. And it was nice that she didn't change the family dynamic too much even though the childhood friends turned into lovers. And let me tell you some of the cakes in this book makes my mouth water.
Savor the moment is book three in the all new Nora Roberts series The Bride Quartet. I loved the first two but this one is my favorite to date. Then again there is another one coming our in September. Happy Ever After is the last book in the series and Parkers story! Parker is my favorite so I can't wait for this book.
For more information on this book and Noras others check out her website at http://www.noraroberts.com/
Is it September yet lol.
Lover Mine by J.R. Ward
In the darkest corners of the night in Caldwell, New York, a conflict like not other rages. Long divided as a terrifying battleground for the vampires and their enemies, the city is home to a band of brothers born to defend their race: the warrior vampires of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
John Mattew has come a long way since he was found living among humans, his vampire nature unknown to himself and to those around him. After he was taken on by the Brotherhood, no one could guess what his true history was- or his true identity. Indeed, the fallen Brother Darius has returned, but with a different face and very different destiny. As a vicious personal vendetta takes John into the heart of the war, he will need to call upon both who he is now and who he once was in order to face off against evil incarnate.
Xhex, a sympath assassin, has long steeled herself against the attraction between herself and John Mattew. Having already lost one lover to madness, she will not allow the male of worth to fall prey to the darkness of her twisted life. When fate intervenes, however, the two discover that love, like destiny, is inevitable between soul mates.
This was a really good addition to the brotherhood collection. J.R. Ward writes characters that you just can't get enough of.
Now this wasn't one of my favorite in the series. I do love that she added more Quinn and Blay they are my favorite! But I really wish she would put them together the way they are supposed to be. And she left a big void to have more books to follow.
Her next book is supposed to be with Payne I can't wait. I also heard rumor that she plans on putting Blay and Quinn together but it wouldn't be a full book maybe just an anthology. Please oh please JR I would really really like you lol.
My first RT experience 2010
It starts with the drive! 1 1/2 hours to the event, would have been longer but my sister being as gracious as could be let me stay at her house! And with the help of one very good GPS and help from a friend I made it to the Hyatt in one piece and without getting lost. But it has to turn out to down pour that day and that does not make a good trip lol.
I arrived early in the morning and managed to try to eat brakefast not only was the food gross it was borderline unedable. After breakfast I went to the main lobby. For those of you who have never been to a big hotel it looks like a damn airport lol
I had to wait in line to get all my books stickered to tell which ones I brought in and which ones I purchased which coming out of there they had to check again go figure lol.
Dana Marie Bell was the first author I met! She was in the lobby when I was waiting. Very nice lady we talked about our kids and dogs!
The line to get in was so long that they had to stop the escalators to line us up on them! It wrapped around and went well past the elevators down the floor below
I finally make it in and am awww of the room it huge but so many people packed in that just min in the door I am red faced and shakeing. Here's a picture of the crowd in the ballroom
Some of the authors you actually had to get tickets for! JR Ward had somewhere around 1500 tickets and I was 982 in line for Charliene Harris. They had to move quite a few to around the edges to help the crowd mull through
Here are some of the pictures of me and the authors.
Cathy Camp & C.T. Adams
L.A. Banks
Mari Carr
Lexxie Couper
Kate Douglas
Hannah Howell
Angela Knight
LuAnn McLane
Michelle Rowan
Jennifer St.Giles
Kerrelyn Sparks
Lisa Jackson
Jayne Wells
MaryJanice Davison
Heather Graham
Charliene Harris
Jayne Rylon
I ended up with 32 books signed! Which seeings how only 7 of the ones I brought were not is a good thing. Three being from JR Ward I love her work but I was not about to wait in that long line for only one book sorry. I also got tons of swag and tons of signatures for my t-shirt I plan on wearing to Lori Fosters Retreat
Now after all was said and done I went to a lunch for about 30 min with some great ladies. Thanks to Lucy Monroe and Lori Foster for having me
Now afterwards I went and hug out with the girls from International Heat! The best ladies in the world!
Now I was going to go and hang out and watch Mr. Romance but I kinda got to talking with Jambrea and Val and lost track of time! But I got to meet last years Mr. Romance Charles Paz
I had such a fun time! It was my first booksigning and bow being thrown in the ring with a room full I will never be nervious again lol.
I am looking forward to seeing Val and Jambrea and alot of the other authors again in a month at Lori Fosters retreat.
All in all the Romantic Times experience was great. I will defently go again if it ever comes close enough for me to!
